A-kili Foundation programmes will be alert and aware to the needs of her various stakeholders. The Foundation develops an approach to poverty reduction based on three interlinked concepts - voice, responsiveness, and accountability. Voice refers to the articulation of the concerns of persons with substance use disorders. Responsiveness addresses the sensitivity of decision-makers to the voice of the addicts and its expression in action or inaction. Accountability pertains to the relationship between bearers of rights and legitimate claims and the agents responsible for fulfilling those rights and claims.
Profession is a socially sanctioned activity whose primary object is the well-being of others above the professional’s personal gain. Inherent in professionalism is a commitment to excellence. Destructive to professionalism is expectation of personal gain and neglect of the self-discipline and learning required to sustain professionalism.

As Stewards, we receive God’s gifts gratefully, cultivate them responsibly, share them lovingly in justice with others, and return them with increase to the Lord. In our programmes, we will remain committed and accountable for the care and management of resources and the environment. We believe the earth and its resources are entrusted to all humankind. As true stewards of creation, A-kili Foundation members seek to act and inspire others to act in an environmentally sustainable way, so that nature will be preserved for future generations.
A-kili Foundation is passionate about restoring the health status of drug and substance abuse addicts and giving them hope to get back to normal life through training and therapy after addiction. The organization will use trained staff and volunteers, active in their communities to prevent drug and substance abuse through rehabilitation and education.
