Personal Life and Career
Mr. Hosea Kili is the Founder and Chairman of A-KILI Foundation
and Trustee. A-kili Foundation has been in existence since 2011
formed together with his wife Secilia. Owing to his philanthropic spirit, energy, and passion to support Communities, AKILI Foundation – Rehabilitation and Empowerment Centre was born.
A family man married to Secilia and together they have several
children.
An advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Hosea Kili, OGW holds a Master of Business Administration from the Management
College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK); a Fellow
and Member of Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and an active member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK).
Mr Kili is a Council member and the current Chairman of East and Central Africa Social Security Association (ECASSA). He is the current president, of the Association of Pension Trustees and
Administrators of Kenya (APTAK).
A recipient of numerous commendations, Mr. Kili was awarded the Presidential Order of Grand Warrior of Kenya 9th of December 2011 and the 2nd Runners up CEO of the Year at the COYA Awards 2012. He was also recognized as the Personality of the
Year at the 2017 Pension Awards that sought to award excellence in innovation and service provision to improve the outcomes of both pension funds as well as members. Mr. Kili was also recognized as the 2nd Runners up in the ‘CEO of the Year
category during the 2017 and 2018 Champions of Governance (CoG) Awards.
Mr. Kili currently serves as a member of the ISSA bureau and a member of the Finance Committee of the International Social
Security Association (ISSA) following his election to this post in 2019.

Charity Work.

Mr. Kili,s generous act of giving back to Society has enabled Individuals from humble backgrounds attain education and skills
by giving them a second chance in life. He has challenged and mentored many to realize their dreams Part of his work has seen him involved in the construction of Various
Inter-denominational Churches in Kenya; He has Been Instrumental in the Expansion of the Seventh day Adventist Church Field Headquarters in Nandi County. As well as Serving in Various Boards of Schools and Investment Institutions.

Through him, a number of Schools have received fully funded construction of dormitories, tuition blocks ICT Equipment and
learning materials.
He aided the Government efforts in infrastructure development through donation of Land and facilities including the National Government Administrative offices and Milk Cooling Plant in his home area.
Mr. Kili is an exemplary philanthropist worth emulating and a man
of the people in his own right.
